After our success at the freshers fayre last year, we couldn't possibly contemplate disappointing this years fresh batch of students by not showing up. We chose to do things even bigger and better this year with more giveaways and an exclusive 'Win a wetsuit' comp! The winner will be informed by email tomorrow! Now the stereotype states that students don't do any washing, are only interested in freebies and wear the same clothes and smalls day in day out. We thought we'd test these theories by ordering 1000 pairs of socks to give out to any students willing to enter the Wetsuit comp....
All 1000 pairs had gone 1 hour and 20mins into the 4 hour event. Free socks it seems are very very desirable to new students.
Here's a photo of the stand, I intended to take many more photos of the event but the crowds resembled something more like Beatle Mania than a Cornish freshers fayre!
For those of you who aren't students or simply just missed out on the freebies, it's worth noting that our socks are 3 for 2 in store - so there's still time to pick up some spares...
